I can’t say enough about how great of a stay I had at the place. Being on the canal with the beach so close was such a serene environment. I will definitely book again. The host was incredibly quick to respond to any message, best Airbnb stay I’ve ever had.

We went down for the weekend for a fishing trip and this place was great. It was very close to our charter boat and also on a canal. After booking, I checked on extending on the night before which we were able to do. Timothy was always very responsive and great to deal with. It was a great getaway.

Host was extremely quick on our questions and all communication. We were short on beach towels and he had 4 new towels at our door within an hour. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Place was spacious and we loved all the outdoor areas.

This was just what my littles and I needed! Quiet, easy walk to the beach and the back deck/dock was a lot of fun. Who knew my 7 year old was a master crab catcher!! The night walks on the beach brought out the best in her. We were lucky enough to have great weather with it only raining one that kept us in. However, the chess games were also memorable. The hosts were great and super responsive. My girls have already told me we’ll be coming back.

The house is comfortable but older. Nice set up with comfortable beds. Could use some upgrades and new carpet. Loved that it was dog friendly and had a great fenced in backyard. Easy walk to public beach access.

Great 3 night stay with our family of 5 (6yo, 4yo, 11mo) and grandparents! We immediately felt at home in the house - very cozy, extremely clean, just like it would be if you borrowed a family friends house for a few days. We loved being on the canal and away from the busy main road but the beach was still only about a 3-5min walk away, right across from the beach access. Beds were so clean and the most comfortable Airbnb beds we have stayed on. Really enjoyed our stay here - so many amenities included we didn’t have to worry about - towels, linens, baby crib, few toys for kids, basic beach gear (could use some updates here but still perfect for what we needed). Full turn-key beach trip awaits you!

The host were quick to send check in and out instructions. The pictures looked just like the current condition of the house. Keyless entry was very nice. Great location, very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

The best location! A very short walk to the beach and an easy walk (sidewalk) to the General Store and local ice cream shop. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the back deck/ boat dock. The front porch is great in the evening which had a nice breeze each day. The rocking chairs on both is a huge plus. The unit is nicely appointed with comfortable beds and other furnishings. The host was super responsive when we made inquiries.

Tim and Mitch were incredible hosts! Very friendly and responsive! Loved the house. It was well-equipped and the location was fabulous. Very peaceful. We need to go back so we can actually catch a fish other than a croaker! LOL

We were in town for funeral unfortunately, but Timothy went out of his way to accommodate us in every way possible. The house was extremely clean and very roomy. We loved the layout of the house and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you could possibly think of. "Pet friendly' was an understatement, with a fenced in backyard and a gate on the front porch our dog could enjoy being off leash. The beach was only a 3 minute walk and you could actually see the ocean from the front porch. We loved being able to sit on the dock and enjoy a cocktail and some conversation. Would;d definitely recommend a stay here.

Like your grandmas house, but in a canal on Holden Beach. King bed was pretty comfy too. Close to the beach.

Beautiful well up kept home with a short walk to the beach. There is beach access ramp 3 minutes from the house. No hassle with parking. Everything you need from day to day is there as far as cooking utensils and home entertainment. Owner is courteous and promptly responds.

We had a quick one-night stay for New Year’s Eve this year visiting some friends. We loved the location, being right on the water with the dock out back. Everything was clean and comfortable inside with plenty of space. Will definitely plan a longer stay this summer!

Hawks nest was exactly what our family was looking for. We wanted a place on a canal for peaceful setting and fishing, that was a short walk to the beach. This was it. There is actually an ocean view from one of the upstairs bedrooms. The Neighboorhood and location were great. The house itself was laid out well with everything you will need. The decks and views are outstanding. We were able to catch flounder, pin fish, whiting, and some blue crabs right off the lower dock. Again, for us the house, setting, and location were exactly what we wanted but probably the most helpful part of the experience was the communication from the owners. They are amazing and responded to everything right away. I can’t imagine being disappointed with Hawks nest and we would love to come back!

What a great stay!! The communication with the owners was immediate from start to finish. The house was even better than described and the surroundings were beautiful. The house sits on a quiet canal with a boat deck and porches overlooking it. No need to go all the way to the beach to fish, drop a line right off the deck as we did. But if the beach is your thing, an easy stroll will have you there before you know it. The house was very well equipped and the owners even left a welcome basket full of helpful and needed supplies. We were a small party of four golfers but there is more than enough room for twice that, if not more. The beds and linens were very comfortable and clean. To sum up, an enjoyable experience and I would certainly recommend it to all. Thanks again!
