Who We Are
Salt Mountain Properties was founded by Mike, Tim, and Mitch — three partners with a shared standard for hospitality and a love for the kind of places we manage. Mitch is a Veteran, which shaped a lot of how we operate: clear expectations, dependable teams, and showing up when it counts.
Our name says it plainly. Salt for the ocean spray of Holden, Topsail, and North Myrtle Beach. Mountain for the cabins tucked into the ridges of Bryson City, Murphy, Maggie Valley, and the Asheville foothills. We manage properties across both — and we're proud of every one of them.
Mike serves as a North Carolina Broker in Charge, which gives our owners the regulatory backbone and professionalism they deserve. Tim and Mitch round out the team with the operational and guest-experience side. Behind the three of us is a dedicated local crew at every location — cleaners, handymen, hospitality leads — because a great stay only happens when the people on the ground take pride in the work.
