Coastal Beach Rentals

The North & South Carolina Coast

Oceanfront condos and family beach houses from Marshallberg to North Myrtle Beach.

The Experience

Where the ocean calls

Our coastal rentals span five distinct beach communities — from the wide, family-friendly sands of Holden Beach to the resort buzz of North Myrtle and the quiet wild beauty of Marshallberg's Core Sound.

Some are oceanfront condos with pool access. Others are full beach houses with multiple bedrooms, big decks, and room for the dog. Whatever the trip, there's a stretch of Carolina coast that fits.

Where You'll Stay

A guide to our beach towns

Five communities along the Carolina coast — each with its own personality. Here's the lay of the land, what's worth doing in each, and the rentals waiting for you.

Family-Friendly Brunswick Islands

Holden Beach, NC

Named one of the best family beaches in the country by National Geographic Traveler. Holden Beach is the middle island in the Brunswick chain — eight miles of clean sand, a fishing pier, and a short causeway dotted with classic Carolina seafood spots.

If you want a no-fuss, low-traffic family beach week, this is the pick.

The vibe

Quiet, residential, family-friendly. No high-rises, no boardwalk arcade. The Intracoastal on one side, the Atlantic on the other, and a sea-turtle nesting program everyone takes seriously.

Things to do

  • Holden Beach Pier — fishing, snack bar, ocean views
  • Cruisin' Tikis — tiki-bar boat cruise on the Intracoastal
  • Charter fishing — inshore for trout/flounder, offshore for mahi
  • NC Festival by the Sea (October) — community classic
  • Pet-friendly beach (off-peak hours in summer, all-day fall–spring)

Day trips

  • Southport — charming historic waterfront town, 30 min
  • Wilmington & the USS North Carolina — 1 hour
  • Sunset Beach & Bird Island — just down the road
  • Calabash — "seafood capital" 25 min south

Eat & drink

  • Provision Company — legendary shrimp burgers on the ICW
  • Castaway's Raw Bar — oysters, live music
  • Mermaid's Island Grill — coastal classics with Greek touch
  • Simply Barbecue — NC-style 'cue on the causeway

Twelve Miles of Quiet Coast

North Topsail Beach, NC

The northernmost stretch of Topsail Island — 12 miles of uncrowded sand, a 4×4 driving area at the tip, and a slower pace than its sister towns of Surf City and Topsail Beach to the south.

Pirates used Topsail Island as a hideout in the 1700s. WWII missile-testing happened here in the 1940s. Today it's just very, very pleasant.

The vibe

Secluded coastal community with luxury beachfront mixed in. About an hour north of Wilmington, two hours from Raleigh. Less developed than NMB, more space than Holden.

Things to do

  • Tiki Bar at North End Market — the island's beloved tiki bar and a North Topsail must-stop
  • Seaview Pier — fishing pier and oceanfront restaurant
  • 4×4 Driving Area — permit required, drive your truck on the beach
  • Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital (Topsail Beach)
  • Missiles & More Museum (Topsail Beach)
  • Ghost Fleet Oyster Company — oyster farm tours

Hike & explore

  • Hampstead Reserve — coastal hiking trails
  • Hammocks Beach State Park — ferry to undeveloped Bear Island
  • Wilmington Riverwalk — an hour south
  • Surf City Pier — the social hub of the island

Eat & drink

  • Tiki Bar at North End Market — cold drinks and easy vibes after a beach day
